Adobe Illustrator is a software that helps us make designs, illustrations, drawings, among other works related to the world of drawing. But unfortunately many of us do not have enough resources to buy this program, that is why I will show you an alternative to Adobe Illustrator that is free and open source.

An Alternative to Adobe Illustrator: Inkscape
Inkscape is free and open source software developed by volunteers from around the world. It currently has its version 1.0 and is available for Linux, Windows and Mac.
Inkscape allows you to create and modify objects, make fills and strokes, do typography, among other functions, that help you develop your project in an efficient way.

In addition Inkscape helps you export your project to PNG, OpenDocument Drawing, DXF, sk1, PDF, EPS. As well as adapt it to SVG so that you include it to your website in a simpler way. In turn, you can download or create your own extensions and add them to Inkscape. So you can customize it your way.
In my opinion, if you are a beginner or you want to use another software which is light, free and its functions are necessary to make a project. I recommend you to use Inkscape, why? because inkscape’s tools and interface give you enough possibilities to make an excellent project without pay anything.
